Exotic Discovery

A customer from New York asked us to build a pair of monitors for him using Seas Exotic drivers. We were certainly aware of these drivers, but had never considered them due to the cost. But since he was funding the project, we were happy to oblige.

When we finished the design and fired them up, we knew we were listening to something special. The immediacy and detail stood out right from the start. When the bow hit the strings of a cello, you immediately sensed the speed and attack. Strings never sounded better. Vocals, too, with warmth and body that are palpable.

Obviously, due to the cost of the drivers themselves, these were going to be expensive monitors. And we had no idea what kind of demand there would be for them. So we took them to the Rocky Mountain Audiofest just to see what people thought of them. The response was overwhelmingly positive, so much so that we added them to our speaker lineup. They were simply too good to pass up and now you can enjoy them too!.
