We used the same incomparable berrylium tweeter as used in our SS 9.5 model.
You get incredible transparency without a hint of harshness. This is treble at its best.

Satori 6.5" Woofer

This woofer plays clean and clear down to 35Hz with the type of sensitivity Satori woofers are known for. You get great bass extension and 87db sensitivity.

Perfect Integration

There is something magic about the simplicity of a 2-way Monitor that can provide incredible imaging and a very wide and deep sound stage.

The Story

After the introduction of the SS 9.5's, we thought there would be demand for a 2-way monitor that could be used for surround sound duty with them. But the first time we fired up these speakers, we realized there might be a high level of interest in the SS 6M's, a Monitor speaker that provides the same pristine, transparency of the Satori Be tweeter with bass extension that exceeds what one would normally expect from a 2-way design (bass response to an F3 of 35Hz).

Frequency Response

Extreme Accuracy

Flat Response

As you can see in this frequency response plot, the SS 6M design is extremely accurate with ruler flat response. You will hear the music EXACTLY as it was produced.

Phase Coherent

In addition to flat frequency response, the SS 6M design is phase coherent in the crossover regions resulting in a speaker that images exceptionally well.
