As the name implies, these are ultra-smooth monitors...thus the name. Even with extension beyond 40kHz, they are NEVER bright or edgy. Smooth is the word.

Bass Response

The Silk Monitors play quite a bit deeper than you'd expect in a monitor this size. We're often asked, "where's the subwoofer?"

Transparent Top End

The RAAL tweeter provides a crystal clear window into the sound...almost as if the performers are in the space with you.

As you can see in this frequency response plot, the Silk Monitors design is extremely accurate with ruler flat response. You will hear the music EXACTLY as it was produced.

Phase Coherent

In addition to flat frequency response, the Silk Monitors design is phase coherent in the crossover regions resulting in a speaker that images exceptionally well.
