World Class Drivers

Start with the incomparable Satori Be tweeter and a custom Audio Technology midrange from the Song3 BeAT's. Add a Satori 9.5 inch woofer from the Song3 Encore. And finish off with dual passive radiators and an open back midrange from the SS8. What more could you want?

Dual Passive Radiators

Generating the deepest bass in the system, four passive radiators (two in each cabinet) load the room very evenly with deep bass. And since there are no rear ports, there is no port noise and the speakers are easier to place in the room.

Open Back Midrange

Use wide open, partially stuffed or closed off to control the amount of ambience to suit your taste, your music and your room. The result is an extremely wide soundstage for symphonies or pinpoint imaging for intimate jazz vocals...you choose what's right for you.

Huge SoundStage

Projects the same huge sound stage as SS models are known for...deep and wide.

The Story

Best of the Best

With the phenomenal success of the Song3 BeAT's, we decided it was time to combine the Be tweeter and the Audio Technology midrange in a new "flagship" design.

We combined those great drivers with the 9.5" Satori woofer from the Song3 Encores and passive radiators and an open backed midrange from the SS8's.

The result is a speaker with few equals. Imaging is precise and the soundstage is equal to our legendary SS designs. The top end is extremely transparent, the midrange is detailed and smooth, and the bass is tight and extended.

What more could you ask for? The SS 9.5's have it all in spades.

Frequency Response

Extreme Accuracy

Flat Response

As you can see in this frequency response plot, the SS 9.5 design is extremely accurate with ruler flat response. You will hear the music EXACTLY as it was produced.

Phase Coherent

In addition to flat frequency response, the SS 9.5 design is phase coherent in the crossover regions resulting in a speaker that images exceptionally well.
