Perfect Compliment

The SongCenter is a perfect compliment to the SongTowers. In fact, it is a superior center channel for just about any set-up. Both the size and capability of drivers chosen contribute to a great speaker for reproducing the human voice (dialogue).

Hiquphon OW2

The Hiquphon OW2 is a 3/4" dome tweeter, unlike most 1" domes typically used in other speakers. This slightly smaller size is ideal for reproducing frequencies the upper limits of human hearing without ever become harsh or bright.

ER15 Woofers

These are the same woofers used in the SongTowers. Their 5" size is ideal for reproducing midrange frequencies...the most important for home theater since that is where all the dialog is. The result is highly intelligible dialogue important for home theater.

Intelligibility

With some center channels, it can be hard to understand the dialogue from time to time. Not so with this center channel. It is highly detailed and that leads to high levels of intelligibility.

Flat Response

As you can see in this frequency response plot, the SongCenter design is extremely accurate with ruler flat response. You will hear the music EXACTLY as it was produced.

Phase Coherent

In addition to flat frequency response, the SongCenter design is phase coherent in the crossover regions resulting in a speaker that images exceptionally well.
