The Story

The Small Monitor Challenge

When we set about designing the WOW1's, we were looking for the smallest possible footprint for a speaker that could deliver decent bass extension, detail and accuracy.

We chose the incomparable 3/4" Hiquphon dome tweeter based on our successful use of it in many other designs. It is hard to beat. And we coupled it with a Seas Excel W12 with a magnesium cone.

The result is a small monitor that is extremely accurate and detailed. It has excellent off-axis response for a wide sound stage and midrange performance that is second to none. You will definitely hear all the detail in your recordings. And that is a very good thing.

Frequency Response

Extreme Accuracy

Flat Response

As you can see in this frequency response plot, the WOW1 design is extremely accurate with ruler flat response. You will hear the music EXACTLY as it was produced.

Phase Coherent

In addition to flat frequency response, the WOW1 design is phase coherent in the crossover regions resulting in a speaker that images exceptionally well.
